QOTD: Your Man and His Primping

Does anyone else's FI 'primp' their eyebrows or any other body part? Without getting gross ladies!

FI gets his eyebrows waxed, and gets a 'professional' shave at a barber's every other week.

I wouldn't classify him as a 'Metrosexual' but sometimes it takes him longer to get ready than it does me!

I actually pluck his eyebrows for him! He does spend time in the mirror each morning, but hey, if he expects me to look good, he too better look good.

He doesn't do anything like eyebrows or a professional shave but he does take his sweet time getting ready. I always say he's got no makeup to put on and no hair to 'do', what the heck takes him so long???

He doesn't get his eyebrows professionally done but he does do them himself...He is always making sure everything is shaved properly...

I laugh bc our medicine cabinet at home is filled with more face lotions & cleaners that he uses then I can count...He surely does take more time then me to get ready!!! But I love him

Neither.....once in a while he says he does like 4 or 5 eyebrow hairs and it hurts so he has to stop

he is good with hair triming around his neck and shaving etc. but thats as far as it goes

he doesnt use face wash at night, he doesnt use moisturizer, he uses a buzzer for his eyebrows

however he always looks great so i guess he doesnt need much

My FH has this infatuation of staring at himself & flexing in the mirror. Hes like his mom.. he loves himself. He has to make sure his goatee is perfectly trimmed and every piece of hair on his head is placed just right. He takes forever to shower, and primp in the mirror.. I swear. Hes hot though. He has every right.


ETA: After 5 1/2 years of being with him.. I finally managed to convince him to get a manicure. Now he LOVES IT

my fh is definitely very well groomed. he doesn't get his eyebrows done, but he is constantly trimming his nails, shaves regularly (though I LOVE it when he goes a day or two w/o it) cuts his hair on a regular basis, and always always always is dressed nicely and neatly. even in sweatpants, he still looks put together (and more often than not, A LOT better than me)

I think he puts more time into getting ready than I do, but I LOVE the end result!

me too! He takes longer in the bathroom than me - I shower, do makeup, blowdry hair in the time it takes him to shower

FH is NUTS!! He is OBSESSED w/ his skin and smelling nice!! First of all, he uses this aveno face soap, if he runs out all I hear is 'Ahh, my face is itchy! I need my soap!' I try to stock up, but sometimes He jkust uses faster then I can buy. He changes his pillow case EVERY NIGHT because he doesn't want to get oils from his face the night before on his face again. He will not use the same towel twice. He needs like 6 a day (very annoying) 1 for EVERYTIME he washes his hands, one for EVERYTIME he washes his face,and a different one for each time he showers (usally 2). The other thing he uses A LOT of shower gel and must press REALLY hard because he ruines about one loofa a week. He also goes thre 1 stick of deoderunt a week. I asked him 'How freaking hard are you pushing on that thing?'

Can anyone say OCD?

my FH gets his eyebrows done - and loves his professional shaves. he also weekly gets a hair cut.

There is a definite problem here...good luck with that!

My FH takes good care of himself, but he doesn't go crazy. Shaves his face once a week and his head every other, does it himself. He's not a metro but he certainly keeps himself clean and presentable.

He had bad skin when he was a teenager AND his father was the same way, soooo, he's actually MUCH better then when we first started dating.... (how sad is that?)

Yes, he used to showe a whole bunch of times a day. He used to carry those stupid hand towelettes around w/ him, and he used to not even USE towels to dry his hands, he would only use paper towels...

we pluck his eyebrows (but he refuses to tell his brother or father LOL)
