Does anyone else's FI 'primp' their eyebrows or any other body part? Without getting gross ladies!
FI gets his eyebrows waxed, and gets a 'professional' shave at a barber's every other week.
I wouldn't classify him as a 'Metrosexual' but sometimes it takes him longer to get ready than it does me!

He doesn't do anything like eyebrows or a professional shave but he does take his sweet time getting ready. I always say he's got no makeup to put on and no hair to 'do', what the heck takes him so long???
same thing with me--- I am alwasy ready before him

A new towel everytime he washes his hands? He was worse than that?
Yes, he used to showe a whole bunch of times a day. He used to carry those stupid hand towelettes around w/ him, and he used to not even USE towels to dry his hands, he would only use paper towels...
I was going to say did he have a paper towel dispenser in the bathroom? Poor guy. Do you think it's good for him or now it's just a little obsessive?

I think it's annoying and I wouldn't want to live like that. He's definitly working on it, but I guarentee I will never get to touch his face. It;s sad BUT it's not the worst ting... he knows it's abnormal, so thats good

Re: QOTD: Your Man and His Primping
My FH always keeps his nails nice and neat. But he doesn't shave as much as an Italian should, but I don't mind. I am trying to get him to clean up his eyebrows, and I finally made a first step. He has NEVER done anything to his eyebrows before, but recently he had a very long single eyebrow hair and I told him he needed to trim it. He figured I was being a pain, but looked in the mirror and was like, 'wow, you're right.' So he trimmed it. It's a small step for him, but it's in the right direction. I may get him a trimmer to see if we can trim them at home. As for his hair, it's as long as mine, and gorgeous. I'm so jealous because all he does is wash and condition it daily and it is just so nice looking. I use a $16 condition from sephora, and he uses $2 suave and his hair is nicer than mine. Where's the justice in the world?

FH would kill me if I tried or even asked him to get his eyebrows done. He does take longer than me to get ready but its just that he stays in the shower for a very long time. Every week he shaves his mustache but he is very manly.

Re: QOTD: Your Man and His Primping
I give my fiance regular manicures (followed by a hot cream hand massage!) and pedicures. I love to do it because it relaxes me and he loves to get pampered. He has great eyebrows, so no waxing is necessary, but I do pluck the occassional hair that sprouts up between his eyebrows. I also trim the moustache and 'soul patch' part of his beard because if he uses the buzzer on that part of his beard, it scratches my face.

My FH has this infatuation of staring at himself & flexing in the mirror. Hes like his mom.. he loves himself. He has to make sure his goatee is perfectly trimmed and every piece of hair on his head is placed just right. He takes forever to shower, and primp in the mirror.. I swear. Hes hot though. He has every right.
I think we are marrying the same guy

On this subject: Re: Showering
How To Shower Like a Woman
Take off clothing and place it in sectioned laundry hamper according to lights and darks. Walk to bathroom wearing long dressing gown. If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas. Look at your womanly physique in the mirror - make mental note to do more sit-ups/leg-lifts, etc. Get in the shower. Use face cloth, arm cloth, leg cloth, long loofah, wide loofah and pumice stone. Wash your hair once with cucumber and sage shampoo with 43 added vitamins. Wash your hair again to make sure it's clean. Condition your hair with grapefruit mint conditioner enhanced. Wash your face with crushed apricot facial scrub for 10 minutes until red. Wash entire rest of body with ginger nut and jaffa cake body wash. Rinse conditioner off hair. Shave armpits and legs! Turn off shower. Squeegee off all wet surfaces in shower. Spray mold spots with Tilex. Get out of shower. Dry with towel the size of a small country. Wrap hair in super absorbent towel. Check entire body for zits; tweeze hairs. Return to bedroom wearing long dressing gown and towel on head. If you see husband along the way, cover up any exposed areas.
How To Shower Like a Man
Take off clothes while sitting on the edge of the bed and leave them in pile. Walk naked to the bathroom. If you see wife along the way, shake wiener at her making the 'woo-hoo' sound. Look at your manly physique in the mirror. Admire the size of your wiener and scratch your ***. Get in the shower. Wash your face. Wash your armpits. Blow your nose in your hands and let the water rinse them off. Fart and laugh at how loud it sounds in the shower. Spend majority of time washing privates and surrounding area. Wash your butt, leaving hairs stuck on the soap. Wash your hair. Make a Shampoo Mohawk. Pee. Rinse off and get out of shower. Partially dry off. Fail to notice water on floor because curtain was hanging out of tub the whole time. Admire wiener size in mirror again. Leave shower curtain open, wet mat on floor, light and fan on. Return to bedroom with towel around waist. If you pass wife, pull off towel, shake wiener at her and make the 'woo-hoo' sound again. Throw wet towel on bed.
If there is anyone among you who did not laugh at the truth behind this, there is something so very wrong with you.

FH goes unshaven for days sometimes but he does get his eyebrows done when I make him or when there's an event. he likes the ocasional manicure (like 1-2 times a year)...but on the whole he's not much into appearances.

Oh yes ...he gets his eyebrows done and goes to a salon to get his hair done - sometime he comes with me when i get my nails done and he will get his hands and feet done!

Re: QOTD: Your Man and His Primping
FH just recently decided that he was going to get his whole head buzzed. We got some vacation pictures back in April and he looks at me and says, 'Why didn't you tell me it was that bad (his bald spot)'. I said it wasn't, but he freaked. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the buzzed head, especially with his goatee. I think he looks muy macho!!! Anyway - he has to get that done every 2 weeks or it looks unkept.
He won't shave everyday during the week, it's because of his job. FH is an ironworker, so presentation is not necessary.
When he comes over, he is always close shaven, smelling yummy and looking like a regular hottie.
