Does anyone believe that you and fh were destinted to meet? That is was fate?

I think that fh and I were destined to meet. The way that the events played out until our meeting and the way we literally sparked on first contact and kiss makes me believe that we are meant to be...
I feel like once you are on your right path everything begins to fallinto place and for me, that has been the case :)

We were definitely DESTINED TO MEET!!!!!!!!!!!!! We both got of approx 5 year relationships around the same time.........and even though we had been friends BEFORE we were single something just CLICKED!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it was that... 'everything you want is right under your nose' moment!!!!!!!

i really think so b/c i was on that chat room for just 3sec and then he just hppened to im me. and also another reason i believe so is because the day we started going out it was my g-ma's birthday and also him passed g-father's birthday, So i think it was his g-father that made us meet.

YES! I think that we were totally destined to meet because a year before we started going out he had came into the store where I was working and asked me out and I had told him I'm sorry but I am leaving for college tomorrow. And he didn't believe me. Then the next year I had a flat tire and he stopped to help me and asked me for my #. The whole time we were dating he swore that he knew me from somewhere. Then he came to visit me at school 6 months into our relationship and saw my wall of pictures and recognized me right away from the year before in my Modell's uniform. We were dying laughing and thought it was crazy that he had asked me out twice, two different times and neither of us realized it. We definately believe that we were destined to meet!

Well, not really. LOL. We were complete opposites back in High School. We did like eachother back then but never said anything because we were from totally different crowds. Years after High School, I think fate brought us together.

Other than meeting on a blind date...he saved my fathers life.
One night he fell asleep at my house, and when he woke up, he kept saying he had to go to his house to let the dog out. I kept telling him his brother would do it, but he insisted. As he was leaving, he accidentally set off the house alarm, which woke up my dad.
My dad literally fell down the stairs and was so disoriented we thought he was having a stroke. We took him in an ambulance to the hospital, where he was in kidney failure. I can't even say what it was because it's too upsetting, but he spent 3 months in the hospital.
Later, Tim told me that his father (who passed away of the same thing that almost killed my father) was making him get up and leave my house, which is why he insisted on leaving. By setting off the house alarm, my dad woke up; if he hadn't, my dad would have died in bed, no questions asked.

we thought we were.. cuz use to live the town over from him, and i use to work in his town, and he use to go into that store all the time as a kid... we feel like we've crossed each others paths many times.. and it just took other people to get us together....

yes i think we were destined to meet. When i was in 5th grade i use to go to the YMCA in my neighborhood and my fh was the lifeguard there, though at that time i didn't know him cuz of course he was 5 years older. He also use to hang out right my my house cuz his friend lived there, so i'm sure we crossed path a million times but i was too young for him to notice me and he was to old for me to notice him. I feel like we crossed path so many times but didn't know it. Maybe there is sucha thing as fate?

wow... reading through these i was getting the chills.... i truly believe in fate, and i'm so happy for you girls that you too have found your soul mates!!
our story began the first day of band camp freshman year in college (insert band geek joke here ) at marist college in poughkeepsie. he sat down to talk to me and realized that we grew up really close to each other. (he in medford, and me in shoreham) haha i was in such a north shore bubble that i hadn't even heard of medford, and i didn't think anything of it or him. he said that he remembers me that year, and apparently i would always say hello and was friendly. two years later (again at band camp) i was the secretary so i was introducing myself to the new members, and i saw him, and said 'i haven't seen you in a while, where have you been?' haha he said that he was studying in england for the past 6 months.... we were together ever since.
the strange thing was that while he was in england he was really missing america and was anxious to get back and to meet an american girl, and actually had me in mind from just the few times our paths crossed.
this part is a little kooky, but it floored me!! a few days before band camp (i know, i know....) i was kind of talking to god while i was driving around lost (as usual) and i was talking about how i was upset about how i haven't found love yet. all of a sudden i see cross street. i took it and it brought me to the main road. i felt like it was a sign that things were going to work out. less than a week later i met my fh (again)!!

I believe we were meant to be together, but I dont believe in fate at all. I think we were attracted to each other and together we made it work.

Totally fate/destiny.....I really belive his mother and my mother conspired to get us together. Both our moms passed away and they are buried in the same cemetery almost diagonal from eachother!!! It was ment to be!

It seems like we were destined to meet in a way. We went to the same elementary school for a few years and went to the same small high school but never knew each other. Seems like we maybe should have met before but fate brought us together much later!

I definitely think so...When I applied for my current position, there were 2 openings for the same type of position-one was in the Bronx and the other in Brooklyn. After the interview, the recruiter called me to ask if I was only interested in the Bronx position...I was going to say yes, but something told me to say no, that I was willing to travel to BK also. It turns out the Bronx position had been filled. If I had said that I was only interested in the BX, I wouldn't have got the job, where I ended up meeting fh.
