QOTD.............1/28/09

Hi Ladies

A few of my friends and FHs friends have already taken the walk down the aisle and alot of the wives have asked me if FH and I were going to wait until after the wedding to 'play'.....they said that after the wait that it made 'playing together' soooooo much better.

So the QOTD is.....................How many of you are planning to wait a little bit to 'play'? and How long will you wait?

Since FH had surgery in Dec we had to stop all kinds of 'playing' for about a month and a half so we got a taste of whats to come.

I figured we would wait a month before the wedding. I highly doubt we will be doing anything on the wedding night since I know I will be exhausted but the next morning all bets are off

i honestly would love to do that. I don't think FH feels the same way though! NOw that you posted this, I'm going to talk to him about it again!! I think it makes the honeymoon night really special!

FH isnt thrilled either but we just made it through a month and a half (haha only for medical reasons though)

I said we should, and DH reluctantly agreed. Then one night we were watching TV, had a glass of wine, and shot that to h3ll. After that we didn't care anymore.

I would love to but I don't think that FH will like that idea very much He gets very cranky after like 3 days soooooo I can't imagine what a month or more would do, lol!

we got engaged on 2/15/08 and both decided to wait for the wedding. Being 31 & 35 it was something we wanted to do and it has completely improved our relationship...Knowing that we have so much more beyond 'playing' is good for the soul...

FH doesn't know it yet...but he ain't getting ANY play time about a week or longer before the wedding just for that fact. We play about 4-5 times a week now...so I KNOW he'll be cranky...but that's OK. lol

FH is having surgery in February and will be recovering for 5 to 6 months.. since we will only have 2 more months after that for the wedding we are going to wait... I hope its worth it!!!

Well, as the official board uptight prude, we will have been home-run free for 5 years and 1 month, exactly by wedding night. Personal issues.

That's not to say I'm a nun or anything...just I feel very fortunate to have such an understanding, respectful FH

I havent even thought about this... we probably will do in unintentionally because I will be so stressed and nothing will happen the night of because we will be drunk, so the HM it is

I suggested not 'painting' (as we call it) until after the wedding but from the look on my FH face he knew I wouldn't last that long

We stopped playing when we got engaged, but FH is going nuts. So we made a bet, since I am so aggravated that I still only have half my groomsmen, if he asks the rest by Friday we can 'play' this weekend. But thats it until the wedding.

But I think I am safe, so to speak, my best friend's suicidal patient and the snow has made it seem as if fh is not going to reach his goal.
