I was watching sex and the city before and it was the episode when Carrie and Aiden move in together and she looses some of her alone time and more importantly closet space.
When you moved in or planning on moving in with FH what is one thing that you are going to miss about having your own room?

As much as I cannot wait to live with FH and start our lives together, I am def going to miss my closet space and having the remote all to myself. FH is all sports ALL the time and I cant sit that long and watch ESPN. I love my girly shows.

FH is building me a walk in closet, no kidding, so no issues there.
But I will miss being able to watch the TV and leave it on with the sleep timer until I fall asleep or lying in bed on my computer typing to people like my LIW girls. He is to light of a sleeper. I probably won't even be able to read in bed.

When FH and I first moved in together I missed my alone time so much! He usually gets home a couple of hours before me so when I would get home he would be so excited to see me...I literally could not get in the door with out getting bombarded with affection and questions-Most girls would love it but it drove me crazy! It took a couple of months but after many conversations about my need to relax when I walk in the door he has finally learned to let me come in and put my stuff down and breath before he greets me full force!

I'm going to miss staying up til all hours of the night....whether it's playing online, or working...
And of course, we would need a bigger bed!

I'm going to miss my privacy on the computer...I don't know if we're going to have a house or apartment, so we may not have room to have my second computer, and FH has his under password protect like the little monkey he is, so it's going to be like master may I please use the computer? Thank you master...
As he will be watching the entire time. TomKat in more ways than one!

All my princess stuff & my stuffed animals. My room is VERY girlie now. After we are married I'm going to have to have a grown up room.

I still miss my mental space but most importantly, I miss a picked-up bedroom. I'm ready to throw the hamper over his head since his clothes never make it in there.

the biggest thing w/ sharing a bedroom for me is trying not to wake him up when he's sleeping. if i can't fall asleep right away, i feel bad that i'm keeping him awake. when i have to get into the bedroom to get clothes in the morning, i feel rushed bc he's still sleeping. it's nice to be able to go in, flip the light on, take my time, not tip-toe around...stay awake watching TV as long as i need to before i fall asleep.
still wouldn't trade my life w/ FH tho

definitely going to miss my alone time. i like to watch my shows and just decompress after work
i am also nervous about sharing everything with someone else! i like my own things and i like being responsible for myself - and that's soon to be over!
but it's all worth it

I do miss the closet space. I had a huge closet and a smaller one (for my shoes) in my old room. Our apartment has the two smallest closets. I have to rotate my wardrobe between our apartment and my mom's house.

I don't miss anything about my past living situation. I had no personal space because my room was the size of shoe box and I lived at home. It was horrendous. Living with DH, we share a room, but I have two closets and we have plenty of space in our apartment that if we want alone time it's easy to get it. I'd say the only thing I miss is my Cat at home. Besides that, our situation is perfect.

since i grew up an only child for 11 years before my brother was born i guess i would have to say alone time and having my own space... i enjoy time to myself, i seem to get a lot done that way!

I miss sitting around in my pjs til 2pm on the weekend... FH gets sooo annoyed if I don't get ready as soon as I get up!

having my own bed. I enojy to move from one side to the other as I please.. I cant wait to sleep in the same bed but I know its def gonna be an adjustment

FH and I have lived together since July, and I have to say the thing I miss the most about having my own room is the private messes I would keep in there - under the bed, in the closet, maybe a pile of crap in the corner. I am not a clean person. I am trying to better for his sake, but I know my messes bug him. They never bugged me though, until I moved in with him!
