We met online but our first date where I physically met him was at the Cup in Wantagh (that place sucks now though, such a shame) and we were officially dating just over 2 years when he popped the question

FH and I met in High School and began dating when were 15. We took a break in college since we both went away to different schools (Upstate NY and Boston), but always stayed in close contact the entire time with numerous visits. We officially got back together a month or two after graduation four years ago!

FH popped the big question after almost 10 years of our first date! I feel like that number looks SO big on paper but it truly doesn't feel that way at all - hopefully the next 10 years will be similar!

FH and I met at a grammar school reunion. I left the school in 2nd grade and he started in 4th so we had never met. We met on 5/19/12 and got engaged on 1/30/13. We weren't dating for long when we got engaged but I think we both knew it was going to happen the day we met. And plus, we are older so we both knew what we wanted.

FH and I met in high school. After hs we lost touch for 6 years. He was friendly with my brother and they started seeing each other at the gym. FH started asking my brother about me then he messaged me on facebook and we started talking. 1 year and 4 months later we proposed in Boston!

We met through friends when we were 18/19 and he proposed after 6 1/2 years of dating.

Michael and I met in college through my boyfriend at the time. We were friends but not really close at all. A few years after college he hit me up on facebook to meet up, we hung out and the rest is history. He proposed exactly 3 years after our first date :)

FH and I met online as well.. We met pretty quickly in person after we started chatting about two weeks tops in July 08.. He proposed 7/14/11.. It was 3 years and like 2 weeks later :)

We met online through a body mod group we both belonged to. We were long distance friends for 6+ months. Then, we met in person and started dating...moved in together 2 months later. And he proposed on our 9th anniversary of our first date.

FH & I met on EHarmony 4th of July weekend in 2010 and our first date was August 28, 2010 and he proposed May 26, 2012!

i was set up with FH by his mom [she and i worked at an office together], that was back in october 2007, he proposed 4 and 1/2 years later on my birthday april 1 2012!

We met at FH's cousin's bar in 2006 where he worked. We were both seeing other people at the time and I was going away to school in Albany. We hung out for a while and started officially dating in October of 2007. We were together for almost 5 years when he proposed on August 18, 2012
