Hey ladies!! I hope I don't repeat any questions!! LoL Thanks Christina for making me bride of the week!!
Are you doing anything special during your wedding for anyone other then your fh??
My grandmother has Alzheimer's Disease and won't be able to make it to the wedding because she just can't sit and be around crowds for that long a time and needs to be transported by an ambulance. So, prior to getting to the ceremony we will be stopping at the nursing home where she lives to take pictures with her. We are also making a donation in her name to the Alzheimer's Association! On a lighter note, we also booked a jazz band during our cocktail hour for my dad since he loves jazz music! He has no idea and thinks our DJ will be playing music. He has a local musician he enjoys, Curtis Haywood, and he sees Curtis whenever he plays anywhere on LI! We were able to book him for the cocktail hour!

That's so sweet!
We're having a percussionist with our DJ and my father is an avid drum player so we're going to have the DJ invite my dad up to play the drums! He's going to love it!

We got a jazz trio for my dad because that is also something he really wanted lol... I'm debating doing a mother daughter dance along with the traditional father daughter dance because i thought that would be a nice thing for my mom

In lieu of doing a bouquet toss, we're going to have the DJ announce a couple who are celebrating their wedding anniversary that day. I'll present my 'toss bouquet' to the wife, who is my FG's grandmother.
I'm also going to ask the DJ to play a mash-up of some of my dad's favorite songs as a memorial since my dad loved music so much.

Right after our first dance we are going to have a a little memorial ceremony for FH's mother who passed away. We intend on having a memorial candle that will be displayed on a table with pictures and we are gonna have a slideshow of pictures on the TV screens as well with a beautiful song playing while we light the candle.

I will have a memory table set up at the reception hall for our family members who have passed. I am thinking of displaying their wedding photos on this table.

i am going to do the same.
i am contemplating doing a dance with some of the more important men in my life (they would each have a part of the song to dance with me to) ... like my grandpa, my two uncles, and my brother, maybe my FFIL ... since my father passed away when i was 11, I won't be able to do the father-daughter dance. i'm not sure if this will be too emotional for me or my mother to handle, though.
