After about 3 months of us dating, fh and I went out east for dinner then went for a walk on the beach. I went to sit on the railing of the boardwalk and I'm a total clutz and FELL backwards! LoL like super far into the sand and messed up my back! FH drove me to the hosp, stayed with me in the ER till 6am then went straight to work! Right after work he came right back to my house and brought me soup and flowers! He took such good care of me that following week and was so concerned I remember I kept thinking to myself, THIS is the kind of relationship I've been looking and hoping for!! I was taken back by how much I could love someone in such a short period of time! I knew then he was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with! His awesome personality and good looks helped too haha! <3

So I guess one of the first times I recognized that there was something really special about FH was after a romantic date I had, with someone else! Hehe. I was really trying to date around when I met FH and I was actually dating 2 guys at that point, they both knew, and I was making sure I took my time and got to know the both of them. Well, the 'Other' guy took me on a great date to the aquarium, we talked and laughed, and had a good time, then out to dinner at an amazing restaurant. Again over all good time. When the night came to a close though, I could think of only one thing, that I couldn't wait to go home and call FH (we had been talking pretty much all night every night since 'meeting'). I knew I was done for. lol This 'other' guy checked all my boxes, intelligent, great job, independent, takes me out, wants a family, etc, but even after all that, I just didn't have THAT feeling like I did with FH. I felt like FH was my best friend, and although I made him wait around a little while I made up my mind, I know I made the right choice!

There wasn't a specific incident or exact moment. I just knew the connection we developed and shared was what I had been praying I would find in a man. When we met and clicked even more so than our long correspondence before I kinda knew this was 'it' and he would be the one I would marry.

Beautiful stories! I didn't have a moment either. I knew he was the one because I couldn't picture myself with anyone else. We have been together since we were young, and we turned around 7 years later and we were planning our life together and it just seemed right.

That is such a lovely story! I knew my FH was the one when we started dating. One day I stared at him (without him noticing) and thought how awesome it feels to be with him, that I cannot see myself with anyone else, and that I hope we last forever. I am silly like that, haha!

There wasn't a moment exaclty. Somehow, I just started thinking about the future in terms of what I wanted for 'us' instead of what I wanted for 'me.'
I came home from our first date and called my best friend and told her 'This is the guy I'm gonna marry' ... I couldn't tell her WHYYYY... but I just KNEW.
I can tell you the first moment I realized I was madly in love with him. We were dating for about 4 weeks or so and we were at the Reel Big Fish concert and the song 'Good Thing' came on and he wrapped his arms around me from behind and kissed my cheek and I melted. I wanted to tell him at that moment that I loved him. I didn't... but I wanted to lol
Thats also why its our wedding song!
he is just everything I never knew I always wanted and I just couldn't imagine my life without him <3

My FH and I were friends for awhile before we started dating and clicked the moment we met like I never experienced before. I guess in the back of my mind I always knew he was the one. Once we started dating we were serious very fast. I just couldn't imagine my life without him from the very beginning.
