Personally I think its nice when men take care of themselves UP TO A POINT..everytime i go into the nail salon lately there r men in there getting manicures and even pedicures..plus i m noticing that they seem to b waxing every hair on there body, legs, chests,,and um other areas!!! i think some men have better 'bikini waxes' then most women. i went out with a friend from highschool this weekend i havent seen him in 4 years..his eyebrows looked better tweezed then my own!!! I like a guy to b put together but also know when to leave the house in sweats... plus sometimes a real man with hairy legs and callusy hands can b ruged and sexy not waxed, geled and manicured into a little boy!! :)

Re: QOTD..how do u feel about 'metrosexual men'
Its all about preference. My hubby does not have a hair on his body. Although it is because he has Alopecia, I wouldn't want him any other way!! I love no hair!! I'm actually jealous!!
But I think its ok for guys to wax it off. To each his own. If they are more comfortable that way, then so be it.

Re: QOTD..how do u feel about 'metrosexual men'
I like a man with some hair on his body, but not a lot.
BUT I do LOVE a man that dresses nice and smells nice (cologne) for a nice occasion....
DH does not wear cologne...MAYBE a handful of times a year, nor do we do anything worthy of dressing up.

I think gys should take care of themselves. Clean, smells nice, pressed well-fitting clothes, clean-shaven. No one who takes more time to get ready than I do. I actually encourage my FH to get manicures (he refuses) and to groom his eyeborws (finally won that battle). it just looks better

I dig it... as long as they don't start criticizing my grooming habits!!!
One of my biggest peet peeves is a man with hair & a man with dirty fingernails...

Re: QOTD..how do u feel about 'metrosexual men'
I love it that FH takes care of himself. He uses products on his hair and comes home every once in a while with different body scrubs- (geared for men but I love them too). But there is going too far- like you described
My opinions on the topics you mentioned: 1- Eye brows: any man with a uni brow should wax 2- Waxing- chest and back- yes. Bikini- not for straight men, but do take care of that area. Legs- definitely No!!! I don't think straight men should have hairless legs. Its just too feminine.
3- Manicures and pedicures- nothing wrong with it. I am begging FH to get a pedicure. Rugged men can be very sexy- but you don't need callouses to be sexy! I don't like being caressed by a man with callouses.

Re: QOTD..how do u feel about 'metrosexual men'
My honest answer to this will make me sound like Al Bundy. So I won't go there.
Good grooming is obligatory. But I think there's a point a guy should go up to.
But let's not get ridiculous with waxings, pedicures, manicures.
I would totally make fun of any guy who did this. No question about it.
I'd be like.. 'Don't break a nail.'

Re: QOTD..how do u feel about 'metrosexual men'
Well, I would consider my husband a 'manly metrosexual'. He will go to the nail salon with me and get a manicure and pedicure, he can out shop me, he is a great cook and he does occasionly wax his backand the tippy top of his chest (to avoid the hair sticking out the top of his shirts). Although he does these things I know that he is all man and I appreciate the fact that he takes pride in himself.

Re: QOTD..how do u feel about 'metrosexual men'
i think that some men can pull off the 'metrosexual' look.....others can't.
my husband is one of the ones who can't....
nothing wrong with a man taking pride in his appearance just the same as a woman

Good as friends, bad as boyfriends - I need my time in front of the mirror and I don't want to share!!
