~QOTD~March 14, 2008

Good Morning Gals!!!

I have been listening to some people talk about their 'worries' for their wedding......(not on the board) and I am assuming that EVERY BRIDE worries about something or a few things for the BIG DAY! (I know I do)

So let us try to ease your mind......

share the thing you are most worried about (or if there is more than 1.. share them all) and let us help you!!!!!!!

i. e. is there a family clash? Aunt SAlly can't sit next to Aunt Lucy or they may have a brawl?

Is an 'EX' coming to the wedding?

Is their a family member/friend that you are possibly a little worried may embarrass you?

Is it a financial worry?

I've been hearing about these from other brides.. and realize that if you talk it out... you feel soooooo much better and realize that you have nothing to worry about at all... so for our FRIDAY... let's help each other worry less!!

I am kind of worried about FH's sister and her 3 brats, er I mean kids. I have told FH numerous times that he needs to make his sister aware that his parents are going to be needed for pictures and stuff and cannot be chasing after her 3 children (whenever we get together as a family she takes it as her time to relax and thinks everyone else should take care of her kids).
FH's niece is our FG (I couldn't very well say no as my nephew is our RB), and now FH said he thinks it would be nice if I asked his sister to be a BM. But someone (and not me because I won't be nice about it) needs to explain to her maybe she needs to leave her other 2 kids at home. Especially if her dead beat husband doesn't come to the wedding with her (which he probably won't because he hates FH's family and doesn't come to any family functions). Her worst child is her oldest son, he is just out of control, doesn't listen to a thing anyone says. I can see myself wanting to beat the snot out of him if he ruined my wedding day.

Oh my a have way too many worries!

First off is money, we have a house and our mogtage payment is so high that I honestly have no idea how we are going to do this.

Second is my family to long to go into but my dad is my main concern and I really hope he doesn't show up because I do not know how I am going to deal with that. And worrying about my family getting there and the list really goes on with them

Third: I just want everything to go well so I worry about things falling apart etc.

As horrible as this is going to sound, I'm worried about my mom being a downer. She has MS and she's wheelchair bound. Everytime I talk about my wedding she brings up the fact that she's not going to be able to enjoy herself because she can't walk and how she doesn't want everyone to stare at her because she's in the wheelchair and whatnot.

My biggest worry is FH's family. His parents had a horrible divorce and initially they were giving us a hard time about inviting the other one. I would get 'well if she is bring her new husband then I am not coming' etc.

It came to the point where I said, everyone is invited if you don't want to come, DON'T COME!

Besides that, although money is not an issues because we are saving, it's still the stress of making sure we have enough come time to pay everyone.

Ummm other than that no stress at all

I am not really worried about anything- which is weird because I worry about everything!!!!!!! The only small concern I have is my dress- I just hope it's perfect!

Honestly, for us there's nothing to stress about. No family problems, we've given ourselves enough time to financially afford everything we want... we're not worriers though. I figure, what's there to be nervous about? The day is more about becoming husband and wife and not about the cake/flowers/music/whatever being absolutely perfect!

my BIGGEST fear is that a vendor wont show up or come super late, like the limo; florist, photographer, etc. I WOULD DEFINITELY FREAK OUT!!!!!

My biggest worry is getting everything paid for on time
Other than that I have little worries here and there.

1. the DJ or any other major vendor not showing

2. how FH's family will dress b/c I know my fam will look like they are going down the red carpet of the oscars and his fam is more jeans and sweathshirt kind of people.

I am worried that

I will get sick the day of the wedding.

I wont be able to stop crying throughout the entire ceremony and I will look like crap on all my pics.

His parents will start fighting ( divorced and hate each other)

i will fall down the stairs of the church or trip w. the isle runner

my church will be empty.

I am worried about a couple of things:

1. That it will snow

2. The clash of the families. I think already they don't love each other and all of them have not even met yet. Also my parents are divorced and my father is very awkward. So I am just worried about how they are all gonna get along. But truthfully when it comes down to the day all that I will care about is my new hubby!

i'm worried about $ and also organizing my ceremony, which is a DIY thing on a public beach--that's stressing me out the most.

My worry is that even though I know the food is excellent at Fox Hollow, I need it to be outrageous the day of my wedding. I have a huge Italain family & so does Joe so that is what matters most to us. So pray its just as fab as always. I dont need the chef going away on my wedding day . haha god imagine i would die!'

Everything else should be smooth sailing! Thank god!

My worry is that FH and his friends in the BP wont get drunk before pics/ceremony.
FH's worry is that his family in Calif. will show up.
I just hope everything just works out
