For me I'm as outgoing and talkative as my father.
My father is the biggest social butterfly, I also inherited his LOVE of music and singing - the tattoo on my wrist is of a music note and it always makes me think of my dad

from mommy, I got compassion. My mother's heart breaks for people she doesn't even know, and I find that I can also see someone on a street corner who looks just destitute and get teary eyed

I got my father's need to talk ALL THE TIME. But I also got his BS detector, and that usually allows me to make good decisions.

I got mom's hand movements- the hand wringing when I am stressed, etc.

from my dad: i can't do 2 things at once hahaha...if you try talking to me while i'm texting/watching tv/reading/etc i will look up 5 min later and be like 'huh?'

from my mom: my organizational skills! haha my mom was so on top of everything when i was growing up, from cleaning the house to maintaining the family schedule. i definitely have that trait, and i'm happy i got it!

awwww! i do the same thing! if i see an old man eating by himself in a restaurant, i start crying! and omg, if he's eating soup and his hand shakes as he brings the spoon up to his mouth...ugh! it's over, i can't help myself! haha i'm so ridiculous

so glad im not the only one LOL.
I saw this guy walking the street and I know him from around town, he isnt right int he head
I literally teared up... i was like.. aww poor guy he has no one to look after him.

He didn't look sad, he just had a blank look on his face....I was heart broken

Then I am just as rediculous! There was an older man who helped me with paint once at Lowe's, and he was SO into it I started thinking about him not having anyone to talk to at home, or what he may have done in his life (career, military) and now he gets excited about coming to work wearing an apron that says Hi my name is Bob... IDK why but it made me sooooo sad!!!

BUT... I don't think I got that from either of my parents, haha!

I look just like my mom, make her facial expressions, everything. It's nuts. From dad, I get stubbornness and a love of learning random trivial facts that apply to nothing

I am very very much like my mother. I look like her and we have the same paranoia and temperment (which is why we get into a ton of arguments) but we are also very caring for others, very independent and headstrong, that's what I love the most about her. She doesn't take anything from anyone. She has been Ms. Betty Jean (that's her name) her whole life and done things her way.

Don't think I got much from my dad. Definitely not his height. I'm 5'6 (on a good day) he's 6'2. I got his carefree side maybe

I think I'm a mix of both of my parents.

From Mom: Very non-confrontational, Loves animals and children, Easy going, Hopeless romantic, Loves to cook, Very close to family.

From Dad: Sarcastic, Loves to meet new people, Adventurous, Loves to read.

And I definitely get my looks from my mom!

From my dad I would say I inherited patience and compassion. My dad is the most patient person in the world. He deals with my mom and her 100 different mood swings a day....lol.

From my mom I would say I inherited her sentimentality and being friendly. I am super sentimental and cry over anything...lol. I love making new friends and can start a convo with a complete stranger.

from my mother, i love to gossip and i am really assertive about my opinions BUT i am also very motherly and welcoming and i will give you the shirt off my back and try to overfeed you always. thanks mom.

from my dad, i got my tough guy attitude.

well from my father....i always have to be right and I have to get the last word in, also my love of science and history

from my mother...my DIY creative skills and my dance moves hah

From my dad: his personality to a tee! the sarcasm, the attitude, the humor...
& my brothers call me his name when I am in a bad mood, or giving them an attitude... haha

From my mom: my mom is such a hard worker but always makes time for her family, her family is number one to her, and I def. get that from her, i love my family, and I am a hard worker.

I definitely got my dads laid back attitude, sense of humor and athletic ability.

From mom: I'm always crying at emotional things. I've cried at commercials or shows that have a sad ending. I used to make fun of my mom for that when I was little...now I am the same way. I also inherited her caring attitude - Always thinking of everyone else.

From dad: I inherited his sense of humor. A lot of people don't get my humor, it's silly and sometimes just goofy but it comes off as serious. My dad is the best at that and I'm glad I got that trait from him. He is hilarious!

I'm very similar to my mom- we both are compassionate caring people and always think of everybody else before we think of ourselves. A need to please everyone else. And I also got my moms emotions I can tear up in a heartbeat for no reason.

My dad I got his sense of humor and love and dedication to family! And the need to hug everyone I know when I see them lol!

I'm glad most of the traits we see are positive ones :)
I wonder who would be brave enough to admit the negative ones LOL

From my mom I got my compassion. We literally sit watching tv, and I know when she is crying at a commercial...because I'm crying too. I also got any reasoning skills I have from her.

From my dad, I got my love of all things technological and my love of books, movies and music. We can sit and talk about these things for hours and not get bored. Unfortunately, I also got his addictive personality!

From my dad it would be his personality, im totally his mini me! We are both very outgoing people, the life of the party, hard working but we also both have very bad tempers....it takes alot to get us mads but god run when you do
