QTOD: September 15th

Original post by ddnsp618

Hi girls,

I'm so sorry that this is a late QOTD. My school restricts access to LIW, so I couldnt post earlier.

Anywho,

What is the one thing that you remember from a wedding that you went to? What is the one thing that you hope your guests will remember?

Have a nice rest of the day!!!

I want people to remember our CP's and us using FH's saber to cut the cake along with the other bits and pieces of Army things we are incorporating.

when the bride walked down the aisle with her dog! (and it was not a service dog) she just wanted to walk down the aisle of the church with her alaskan malamute! i, personally would never do that but it made her happy...

I always remember the way a bride looks. She is always glowing.

For my wedding that is how I want to be remembered. That me and my FH are Happy and in love.

I always remember the music. When I was young I was a jr. bm in a wedding and being as young as I was, I will always remember at the end of the night the groom took the mike and thanked everyone for attending the wedding. He said how he loved his new wife and he just said the sweetest things after that.....I always remember that . I hope that everyone at our wedding can see and feel the love fh and I have for one another.

1 thing I'll remember from a wedding I went to??
Probably the last hour of my BFF/MOH's wedding 4 years ago. She had a 6 hour reception, and the last hour was all dancing & our friend who was a club dj spinned the most AMAZING music!! Everything from 70's, 80's, metal, Michael Jackson, old club music from the 90's. It was seriously the best. All the grandparents, elders, and kids left & it was absolute insanity!
Thats why FH & I are doing an extra hour, so we know that NO MATTER WHAT, we'll have the last hour to tear it up.

One thing I hope my guests remember is how amazing it is that we found each other and are starting the rest of our lives that day. I want them to take away how much love they're witnessing!

I know thats mushy, but I'm sure by now you are realizing what a sap I am.

Some of the weddings I've been to have had memorable favors! One wedding gave out a personalized CD with the couple's favorite songs (they have great taste in music so it was a very easy CD to listen to from start to finish) and included the story of how they met and how they got to this point (marriage) romantically written by the groom.

At the same wedding, a waiter accidentally spilled hot coffee down my back. That was very memorable (I'm sure everyone remembers me yelping! LOL).

I hope people will remember what a great time they had, how terrific the food was, and what a fun and 'easy' wedding it was to attend!

The food and the music are the makers or breakers for me. Each wedding I've been to those are the only things I remember! So, I hope those are great at our wedding. Besides I'll be the biggest critic!
