i was talking with someone on my floor and she asked me if i picked out bm gowns. when i told her im letting my girls choose she was like
she then told me how she was in here cousins wedding and how much she hated the gown. she said when its her time to be a bride she will have her bm choose.

then i read this in QOBGH:

So what if they won't all look exactly the same? It's them you love, not their look, right?

You are not alone, no worries!! I think it's a wonderful idea! My sister and best friend picked out the dress after giving me some of their likes and dislikes. They are happy b/c the dress isn't strapless and its comfortable. Having them happy on my happiest day is so much more important than having them go strapless!

I totally agree.

I just got asked to be in a wedding and I have to say yes (family). The dress is so hideous. I cringe at the thought of wearing that. Of course I'll never say anything to her.

I don't want any of my friends to feel that way. I want them to enjoy the day, feeling pretty and comfortable.

I also just prefer it aesthetically. I dont like things too matchy matchy.
