Queen's Bridal OUT OF BUSINESS

So.. I posted on here about 6 months ago about my on going QBC SAGA!

Well amazingly since my post things got better until today....

Finally after 2 years and 3 months... my final album was ready....

low and behold i made my final approval appoint exactly one week ago, I show up today and they are out of business!!!!


$7,000 down the tubes with nothing to show. There was a # on the door of some guy Bob tht bought their stuff...

I'm sorry I've got nothing left. I am heart broken, and devestated. I should have seen this coming. Calling the layer tomrrow and news12. please let me know if you ar going through tihs too.

Apprently I was the 5th bride today crying on the door step!

there is another bride that this happened to,.... it think her post is on page three(but she didnt take her pictures yet)... I feel so bad for you girls... I hope everything works out.... but i guess you wont be able to get the pictures back

Ladies: Call 7 on your side, Help Me Howard, etc!!!!! These guys have to pay for what they have put you through and you should be given all the pictures and the videos that were taken.

absolutely do this! what they did is horrible and inexusable. Even if they went out of business they should have given their customers negatives, videos, etc. I hope you get everything resolved

contact any media outlet that will listen...
You trusted these people to take photographs for your wedding day, how dare they disappear and not give you your proofs and video. Just try to remember the good about your wedding day and dont let these people ruin those memories...

You should definitely contact a lawyer, at the very least they should refund your contract price. What they should really do is mail your negatives back to you.

I am Chrissa's Mom, I am so devastated for her. From the beginning I told her that after the wedding the only thing you have left are the memories and the pictures. Well, these b@st#%ds took my daughters dream day that she has had since she was a little girl and ran off into the night! What kind of awful heartless person could do this? At least give the girls whatever you have so they can take it someplace else. I don't care about the money. The pictures can never be replaced. There is nothing like your daughter sobbing on the phone on a sidewalk outside an empty store. As a mother I want to rip their hearts out for being so cruel. The worst part is I just don't know what recourse we have.

I am so, so sorry to hear about this. Please, do contact 7 On Your Side or any of the consumer reporters from the major networks. I used to work in PR and I know for a fact that these people HOUND the companies people tell them about.

you are so right!! at least just give her the proofs so she can have someone else do them.. what are they going to do with them.. why couldnt they just finish 'unfinished business' before they went out.. that is just horrible.. i would seriously just try to start with the BBB.. i have done it before and they called me back that day.

My fiancé is friends with one of the vendors that Queens Bridal screwed. Seems like they may have gone bankrupt BUT it also seems that all is not lost.

If the pictures in your album were completed but not bound in the album, the order is probably still at the lab. If the pics were completed at the lab, then they may be at the album binder.

From what I heard, QB says they're going to 'send out letters' to the brides and vendors.

This is exactly why I got out of the photo lab business many years ago. While most all studios are above board and totally honest and really want us to be happy brides, there are sc^mb&gs out there who do exactly this.

I have contacted the media, the attourny general and a lawyer. I am keeping my fingers crossed! I know that in the long run all that matters is I have the most wonderful husband in my life, and that is more important than picture.

At this point I am putting a lot of faith in Karma! I hope it comes back on these Shmu**s 10 fold.

Try going down to Bob's store. It's Jil-Crest Photo Lab at 669 Broadway in Massapequa. They weren't calling be back either so I just went there today. He said my proofs will be in next week. Now there's just the fun of having to pay for proofs and prints & so on that I already paid...

And, ladies, Chrissa is 100% right! Be careful of how much money you give out before you get your pics! I'm thanking God right now that I didn't pay in full prior to the wedding. I still lost money, but at least it's not as much as I would've lost.
