I know this has been posted before but I can't find the thread. So....Where in Queens can I have a Bridal Shower that has modern decor and/or a lounge type ambiance? I know Astoria has lots of lounge type places, but I have no idea which places are good as far as food and service. I have to set mostly everything up for my Bridal Shower since both my MOH's are students and live out of state. The guest list will probably be around 50.

you can try Island in Astoria, it was closed for a long time but just re-opened this past weekend. They do parties there, also I hear Cavo is good. Grand Cafe has a party room but I'm not sure if it's any good for parties.
There are also a few places in whitestone/bayside, Verdi's, Caffe on the Green, Gino's Trattoria, Il Vesuvio(on 12th avenue)
did it re-open? oh wow didnt know. Island is where i had my bridal shower. I have pics in my album to the OP if you want to see
I will look into Island. I like the decor from the pics of your shower.

I'm trying to stay away from all the places in whitetone, Bayside only because since we are from the area those are all places us and friends always go to. lol. So I want something different. I've been to every sigle place you mentioned above many times. lol. I will look into the places in Astoria though. Thanks!

thank you very much. I did love it too and was very different, so that was a plus for me. Luckily my mom likes that too and doesnt like the too traditional look bc i left it all up to her and moh to decide on these things. The food was delicious too
