Hello there. Has anyone had any experience with weddings at this museum? Also - any suggestions for unique reception sites PLEASE? I'm looking for low key - no catering halls - THANKS - all suggestions appreciated!

Hi Antibride- I'm getting married at the Queens County Farm Museum in October. So far, they have been extremely accomodating and cheap--only $900.00 to rent the site. Have you gone to look at it yet? My FH and I spent a long time looking for unique sites for our reception-we didn't want a catering hall either. Where are you located? Would you happen to have any pictures from that wedding?? When we booked the farm, they had told us they haven't had too many weddings there yet. We're looking for ideas on seating within the barn and of course, decorations. If you have any info, I'd really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!

Noticed you posted that you had information on places to have a reception other than a hall. Do you mind sharing?
I'm planning on doing the same thing but not having much luck.
