WOW alot of astoria girls.

Did you all grow up in astoria or moved there at a later age? if you grew up there, how old are you?

I know who Penny is but wondering if i'll know anybody else.

I grew up in Astoria, I'm 28, went to PS 70 but then moved to whitestone and went to school out here but still spend all my time in Astoria since the rest of the family and all my friends are scattered all over Astoria.

I was closer to 34th Avenue near Steinway, borderline Long Island City.

My FH is originally from Bellrose but then grew up in College Point, Queens...I'm a Bronx girl.

I'm a Bronx girl too. Fh is a Queens boy. Originally from Flushing then moved to Jamaica. I moved in with him about 5 yrs ago.

Yay! Thats why he proposed at the park with the view of the Throgs Neck bridge b/c he said the bridge 'Is what connected us (bx & qns)' He is so corny.

FH used to live right near there in Bayside! We took many walks in that park! Great place to propose, I think!

i got married at St. Francis of Assisi. that is DH's parish. And yes i did go to 141. Im guessing he did, what years was he there?

That's where I teach!

awwww wow really, i also used to live like a block away.

Question: is Mrs. O'connell still there? or Mrs. adamo? Im gonna guess that Mrs. Pavlou is still there. Or what about Ms. Giokas, she is probably married now not sure so mightve changed name. She was my Homeroom teacher and home and economics and lived DIRECTLY across the street from her.

Mostly all my friends went to Bryant, I was already in Whitestone by that time so I went to St. Francis Prep.

I dont know who Mrs. O'Connell is but the rest of the them are still here. Adamo is a dean and Mrs Pavlou is the principal. We had a LOT of trouble with our old principal but thankfully everyone is really happy he's gone and Mrs. Pavlou is the principal.

oh wow its so funny bc i thought out of everyone Mrs. O'connell would still be there, she used to be the french teacher.

OH Mrs. Pavlou is the principal now, well cant say i am surprised. Mrs. Adamo was my 9th grade homeroom teacher.
