That's where I'm having my shower. I know they also do dinners. They even have a new room.

If you want to go out to Forest Hills, Portofino is a great restaurant that does lots of events.

I second Portofino and also Parkside in 108th street in Corona has delicious food, they have a private party room.

Completely an aside....but for girls around the Kew Gardens who love Latino cooking:
visit Tu Casa, just off metropolitan ave. AMAZING, AMAZING food and sangria.

They have a live singer on Saturday nights- a bit corney...but fun for a date with FH. Easy on the pocket too.

GUUUURRRL! I'm SUCH a Mojave regular. Yes, check it out girls. Pricier than other Queens restaurants but the BEST sangria in NYC (and I'm a huge sangria drinker). Definitely a treat.

Trattoria L'Incontro is also great, how awesome to have your RH there

I hate correcting people, glad you picked up the subtle hint Don't want you sending people to the wrong restaurant for RH
I live in Astoria and walk by both of these places everyday. It's torture!

I live right up the street from there! It's fantastic. My FMIL went to a shower there last year as well.

Dee's - which is practically right next door - is FANTASTIC and I have seen them put together a bunch of tables before - so you wouldn't have a private room, really, but you could definitely have a lot of people there.

I've been to a couple of showers at Abbracciamento's in Rego Park - yummy!
