Completely an aside....but for girls around the Kew Gardens who love Latino cooking:
visit Tu Casa, just off metropolitan ave. AMAZING, AMAZING food and sangria.

They have a live singer on Saturday nights- a bit corney...but fun for a date with FH. Easy on the pocket too.

How funny! I didn't know if anyone knew about it! Yes the SANGRIA!! They had a 10% coupon on their website a month ago, keep an eye out in case it comes back again. That green sauce...I could bathe in it!

GUUUURRRL! I'm SUCH a Mojave regular. Yes, check it out girls. Pricier than other Queens restaurants but the BEST sangria in NYC (and I'm a huge sangria drinker). Definitely a treat.

Trattoria L'Incontro is also great, how awesome to have your RH there

No you are absolutely right! I would feel horrible if ppl google the wrong place! I went back and fixed them. i live in Astoria too... I love those places.

Bar 36 is nice too and they can hold alot of ppl for a private party.. but I dont know how much it would be

I grew up in Astoria, I'm always there....I love trattoria L'incontro, their food is amazing. Where is Mojave? Is it new? I havent heard of it.

What about London Lennie's on Woodhaven Blvd? I pass by there everyday on my way home and am considering it myself. I've never eaten there though so I don't know what the food is like.

Im in MV too! Well..no Glendale but I'm from MV and my fam is still there.

FYI - We looked into the Woodhaven house for our E-party and they wanted like $10,000 for less than 50 people. I don't think you are having that many people for the RD... but I think they are a tad pricey. I love it there though!

Did you ask for an open bar at WH for your eparty? I had a party there with a sit down meal and we took the whole back room there and it was very reasonable-a lot less than 10K. But we also didnt have open bar. We had beer and soda.

I am also from MV! Wow, a lot of us here!

We were thinking Prima Pasta on Cross Bay Blvd in Howard Beach.
