Queens girls - where are you getting your hair/makeup done?

I know I have a while to go, but I am trying to figure out my budget. The only full service salon I know of that I would trust is Christies in Bay Terrace, and they are expensive.

Any recommendations?

Marco's on 101st Ave in Ozone Park. They are expets at weddings. I don't know what you'd consider expensive, but they do quality work

I am in woodhaven and I am having the hair makeup person come to my hotel. I could not find one salon in queens

i dont know where you are located but my cousin owns a salon in maspeth right on 69th street called the red chair salon. they do hair and make up and even facials and massage. i dont mean to sound like a commercial but he is very good. his name is jon and if you cant get an appt with him anyone in the salon is good and his make up artist co owner is kai. if you wnt further info fm me

Jan- I got my hair cut there once...

Well, my mother lives in Maspeth also and I will be having my girls get there hair done at the salon down the block from my mom's house, where my mom goes- I cant think of the new name- it used to be Total Image. Anyway, its on FreshPond Rd and 60 Dr.

I'm not sure wher you live- if you live near bayside- I can recommend studio Z

I'm getting my hair done at woodside beauty salon then Oksana is coming to me. She does a great job with the makeup and she's a pleasure to work with.

My fiancee used to go to Christies' but now found a new place just a couple blocks from us. Hair on 14th. Right off Parsons Blvd. in Whitestone. She get her hair done by Jacquie. Here is the # 718 , obviously heheheheh

718 747 5800.

There is even a person who does the laser hair removal downstairs. She's very busy.
