honestly it will depend on the time that you go... i went to the middle village one and they said yes. then when i went back on a saturday, they said no.

so if they aren't busy you have a better shot

I got mine done in Massapequa Park but I know Malverne will also do it for you. It's best to go to a smaller, less busy post office.

i did mine at the manhasset post office (27 maple drive). the first time i went, i just went to ask and the guy said they do it, but he seemed annoyed by it (pointing out that it goes thru another machine anyway). today i went to actually DO it, and there is an asian lady there who was SO NICE. she gladly handed me the stamp and let me go to town. i was done with my 180 invites in about 15 minutes and she kept walking over and blowing on the imprints for me so they don't smudge. i guess only a woman could understand a bride's desire to hand cancel her invites!!!

she's always there when i go, so i think you'd probably find her there any given day. even if she isn't, they definitely allow it. i just like that she let me do it myself.

I went with my friend to inquire about postage in the one in Garden city on stewart ave and there is a woman in there who was sooooo nice!!! I took mine to baldwin. I caught them at closing they took my box and hand stamped them all for me in the back.

they let me do it at Glen Oaks...and by let, I actually mean they made me do it, but I was totally okay with it.

does anyone know of any?

I drop my invites off at the Post Office this morning in Flushing, and they wouldn't let me hand cancel them. I'm praying all goes well and everyone receives their invite. Fingers crossed!
