Queens/LI Photo Locations?

We were going to try to take some non-pro pictures this weekend in Queens or LI to use for our slideshow.

Can you please recommend some pretty locations in LI?

I know of:

1. Old Westbury Gardens
2. Sands Point Preserve
3.

What about the park by the Whitestone Bridge? It's so pretty over there.

We live in Astoria and are doing our e-pics in Astoria Park under the foot of the Triboro bridge along the East River. It's a gorgeous spot. You have the greenery from the park, then the water and the view of Manhattan with the Triboro bridge in the forefront.

If you need any details - let me know. I live right around the corner from there.

I did my e-pics in Roslyn Duck Pond Park....Lots of places to take pictures.
