what exactly are they? what is the difference between a 'stay' and a 'stay stick'? I went for my first fitting last week and am having them put into my strapless dress but I was so excited to have my dres son I didn't even thin to ask exactly what they were. Of course I always think of this at night when the bridal salon is closed so I figured I ask you girls!

The only thing I could think of is on my cap sleeves, there is this invisible plastic looking thing attached that will make it not move on my arm....perhaps something like that?

Yeah, I think it's a plastic thing sewn into a garment, you don't see it, to give it shape. Like a stay in a collar in a man's shirt?

Maybe I'm going back, but didn't there used to be little plastic long things inside the collars of some brands of men's shirts? Maybe they don't exist anymore. I'm OLD !!!!!!!!!!
