Ques for E-Party Invitations

Hey ladies,

My FIL's are throwing us an E-party and I am in the process of making the invites. Now I was using formal text but should FH's name come b/f mine since its his parents throwing the party? EX:

1) Mr & Mrs. X request your presence at the engagement party for
Marisa
&
Joe

2) Mr & Mrs. X request your presence at the engagement party for their son and future daughter-in-law

Joe
&
Marisa

My parents threw us a party but we didnt put their names on the top. We wanted to keep less formal so we had people call to RSVP so their names were there next to the phone number

So its started with:

Please join us for a Champagne Brunch to toast the engagement of

RK
and
NP


date
Time
Place

RSVP: Mom and Dad (phone number here)

I think the bride's name is supposed to go first no matter who is throwing the party.
