Ques for those getting ready at a hotel

I'm getting married at Jericho Terrace next June, and was surprised to find that most hotels appeared to be booked already. Had to call multiple hotels multiple times (diff answers each time...whether avail or not)...but anyway, we were able to get a hotel room for FH and I (each have one) at La Quinta the night before, and at Garden City hotel (one room ) on the night of.

I had intended for my BMs and I to get ready in the hotel room, esp for getting ready pics. Figured too that it's easier to get getting ready pics of FH too since his room is in same hotel. But due to check out usually being at noon (I have an evening reception)...do I need to book a second night? Would seem a bit much...I dunno...how do you other girls do it?

WE booked 2 nights in the HM suite. Maybe you can see about late check out or if anybody you know is staying there for the wedding and use their room. I think checking out and into the new hotel the day of will be stressful for you. Maybe you can see about early check in at the other hotel, but there are no guarantees, that is why I paid for the 2 nights. They are completely booked up already for the weekend of your wedding? I gather you didn't block rooms either?

We did the same thing. Could you ask about late check-out? I agree that checking in and out of 2 hotels will be stressful. Maybe you could book 2 nights at the hotel you are staying at on your wedding night?
