ques for WATERMILL brides!

I'm getting married 2/7/04 at the Watermill. We blocked rooms at the Holiday Inn Express b/c they provide a shuttle to and from the reception when you book 10 rooms. We will easily have this. my ques: did any of you block rooms at the Wyndam or anywhere else? are youstaying where your guests stay or are you going somewhere else?

My wedding was February 15, 2003 at the watermill and we also blocked rooms at the Holiday Inn Express; mainly because it was a decent hotel but especially because of the shuttle service. Not only did we stay at the Holiday Inn Express along with our guests, we booked a regular room instead of the suite. We did not have that many out of town guests, so we only had 7 rooms booked in total so we weren't able to receive a discount on the bridal suite. My Husband and I thought $300 was a little steep for a hotel room that we were only going to sleep a few hours in - so we got a regular room and it worked out fine. A bunch of our friends rented rooms too so we actually hung out with them for a little while after the wedding and it was fun to hang out and talk about the wedding after the fact.
It also worked out because some of our friends missed the shuttle back to the hotel - so we had them jump in our limo to get back to the hotel.

thanks for the holiday inn express inof- did you like the rooms, were they ok? also how big is the shuttle bus? how many people does it hold? now that im thinking, were taking a limo bus to the reception with the bridal party and i didnt even think how my fi and i are getting back to the hotel. i dont think we had the limo bus stay- were just doing a dropoff to save $$.. could i possibly fir my a$$ of that bus with my dress?
