Re: Ques re: shoes
to score???? I'm a bit confused If you mean to make them less slippery wear them around the house to get an idea of where you'll wear them down and then use some fine grit sand paper on the ball of your foot. HTH

most shoe stores sell pads that go on the bottom of the shoe to make them less slippery. they work great!

i always take them outside and rub my feet on the pavement. then i walk around in them outside for a few mintues (carefully of course) and i'm good to go.

That's what I do too. Scuff up the bottoms on some concrete and you're good to go!

Me too. I think scoring sort of destroys the bottom.

Re: Ques re: shoes
Foot Petals makes pads for the sole of the shoe that work really well. Not the kind that go inside to pad your feet, they go on the soles to keep you from slipping. They cost $5 or so, but for your wedding, it's nice not to have to worry about scratching up your shoes or risking wearing them outside. I know my shoes are incredibly delicate silk shoes with sequins, and they're not going anywhere except on the carpet (so my feet get used to them) until my wedding day.
