I wanted to do 'Grow old with you.' My girlfriends and I were talking the other day about wedding songs and one of my BM's mentioned she wanted to use that song..so I replied that it was going to be my cake cutting song.
I get married first. Would it be ok for me to use the song she wants as a wedding song as my cake cutting song? I personally wouldn't care, but wanted to see what you ladies had to say. TIA!

I think its fine. No one except you is going to remember your cake cutting song anyway. Besides your wedding is first so you get first pick of all the songs!

i wold definitly use the song. its no big deal, the same songs are always used in weddings. they just fit.. its fine.

Thanks ladies! Colleen, you're right..no one will remember my cake cutting song. I just wanted to make sure it wouldn't be a big deal or if anyone felt I should just let her have it.
