I know someone who was on 5th wheel a couple times. He also interviewed for Big Brother I believe. A coworker interviewed for shippmates but I think he was too normal for the show.

My sister did Surprise by Design for my brother in law. We taped it this Christmas (2003), and it's a christmas special, so it won't be aired until next christmas, Christmas 2004!!! So we have to wait over a year to see any of it.

I tried out for a game show on VH1 a few years back, and got picked as an alternate contestant. Didn’t make it onto the show, though.
In high school I was part of panel discussion on art and architecture that was aired on public access and later on Lifetime. Martha Stewart was supposed to be a panelist, but she didn’t make it!
