If a vendor forgot to include somthing, what would you do when you found out?
To me, it wasn't a MAJOR item, and it probably wasn't worth any large sum of money. But, other people noticed that this item was missing.
Thoughts?

Re: question:
if it was a specific item that was talked about, and they deliberately didn't include it, then I would contact the vendor, and get some $ back. It wouldn't be the $, but the principle. A contract is a contract, and if they didn't deliver, you're entitled to your $ back.

Re: question:
I would call the vendor and let him/her know what was missing. Before demanding money back, see what they offer you to make up for the mistake. I'm guessing that getting what was missing on your wedding day wouldn't be useful to you at this point, but maybe they can give you something else or the money to make up for it. What was missing?

Yup. They really can't give me any item now because it's something that needed to be present at the wedding.
If I had to put a money value on it, it would be very small. I don't think that the vendor intentionally left it out, it was probably an honest mistake. But, it's something that we wanted because it was a nice touch. And, it was in our contract. It was rolled into the cost of other things, so there wasn't a specific price attached to it.
