What type of spotting ? Is it red ? or brown ? When do you notice it ?


Could be estrogen and progesterone at war. Sometimes people 'spot' midcycle...because of that. It sounds a lot like midcycle spotting, usually an indication of ovulation. The pains might be related to ovulation. Are you past ovulation ? How many days past ? Could be implantation spotting .......but that usually happens closer to AF.
