I am always honest, but try to be tactful. I also don't ask questions, unless I am prepared to hear the truth from people. I do think there are some people who really are looking for reassurance, more than honest opinions, and if I disagree with those posters, I just don't answer.
I don't FM too many people on here - I guess I am not really 'friends' with people. I seem to receive and send FM more for info purposes.

I very rarely do that, although I have been the recipient of such FMs. Occasionally, I will talk to a LIW/LIF friend on IM about something that happened on a particular thread, but not usually about someones specific response.

I definitely FM others. I try not to respond when I dislike something because all it really does is offend the original poster.
