Yes, I do. I think it's pretty much human nature.

Why?

Re: Question...

just curious..

I wonder how honest some of the girls on here are when they reply to a post....

Do you think most are honest or do you think most reply with what you think the poster wants to hear???

Re: Question...

Well, I think almost all will say they are honest almost all of the time, and many probably actually try to be honest all of the time. But whether we are...well, who really knows??

I try not to lie or humor someone. I will tell the truth or say nothing at all. In those cases, I may fm someone to get it out of my system.

Personally I only try to respond to things if I have something positive to say. No sense in upsetting someone unnecessarily. But I also personally wouldn't say one thing to someone and then FM a friend just to say: 'ha, ha'

Exactly. I think if you have something to say you should say it to the person, but if it's just negative and pointless, keep it inside.

if someone posts something and I don't like it, I don't respond.

That doesn't mean that I see every post. I don't want anyone to think 'oh great, Dina didn't like my ___ because she didn't respond'

There's a diffrence between an honest opinion of something or advice and just some kind of snide or sarcastic or disparaging comment. I usually give peope my honest opinion. Unless like they already bought their gown or booked their hall, there's no reason for me to say I don't like, no good can come from that. But I won't FM my firneds about it either and say 'oh gawd, what an ugly dress!'

Well, to be honest, I'm not above a little negativity here and there, and in some cases, I think the poster can use a little bit of reality...

But there are some instances - mostly having to do with questions of personal taste - where I just don't feel it's worth posting if I disagree. My response will either upset the poster or start drama, so I'd rather just keep it to myself.

Re: Question...

it's two different things I think

1) Not telling someone if you disagre ewith them on something like a gown or whatever

2) FMing your firneds about a post, whether you post or not to say 'look at this moron'

I don't...but then again, I don't have many 'friends' on LIW that I FM with (and know no one off-LIW) and certainly have been in my share of trouble for being 'honest' on a post.
