I was gonna buy those tickets when they went on sale and FH yelled at me that I'm only happy when I'm spending money and I've already seen Lifehouse twice and don't need to see them again!
ARGHH!!

I say go to the show and just eat something at home beforehand.

as much as i agree with all the above posters to go, keep in the back of your mind if you keep doing stuff like this, your wedding budget will be nothing. every once in a while is good, but don't make a habit out of it...

also, we i got married, it was counting money to make sure i can take care of tips etc...

thanks ladies... We decided we'll go, and cook dinner in.... I am a HUGE saver, and he's not so much so, so he was shocked that I'd want to splurge even for $64, lol

I agree with this

I think you probably should go. It wont break the bank..but all of these little things can add up. I can totally attest to that. We'd have a lot more in our wedding fund if we didn't do so many little things..so many $40 dinners, $30 movies, etc..

I have a funny story that might help. Several yrs ago my mother was in a relationship with this guy. For his B-day she took him to Le Meis(spl) in a limo. She wanted to do a nice dinner but couldn't afford it all. So in the limo after the show the driver pulled into McDonalds, and she rolled down her window and asked what he wanted. He laughted and its still a joke between them, even after they spilt up.

I'd go. We are all working on saving for the weddings, but never doing anything or going anywhere causes stress which leads to fights with the FH's!

Have a good time, don' t do big gifts. Make each other cards and enjoy each other for an evening
