Question?????

Question?????

Do you ladies think that some of us are judged for the things we buy? For example, say a girl that is having her wedding at Oheka Castle or a girl who buys a rediculously expensive dress.

Do you think they get judged for spending so much money for one night?

Each bride has her own idea of a magical wedding day - I don't cast judgement on what other people choose because that is their choice and their dream.

Every one of us is judged every day..... that is why there are so many spats on here. Is it right, no. Will it ever stop, no. Thats what makes the world go round, slightly off kilter.

Re: Question?????

Everyone is entitled to have their dream wedding. I don't judge people for what they are spending or where they are having their wedding. If they can afford it, more power to them.

But I do think people judge people. I try not to, but it happens.

Definitely-it kind of stinks but it happens. If I could spent 10K on a dress and I really wanted it I would buy it-whether someone liked it or not. Everyone has their own ideas of what their wedding day is going to be about. Cheap or expensive

I think while everyone tries not to judge another person, the simple fact is that we are human, and it is part of human nature to make judgments. Sad, yes, true, yes again.

I think the thing to remember is not to begrudge the bride who can afford Oheka, or the $10,000 wedding dress, or whatever.

A friend of mine attended a wedding of his friend's sister. Her parents told her she could either have a house as a wedding gift or go all out on the wedding itself. She chose the wedding. She had the castle, and the $10,000 dress, and every conceivable extra at the CH, as well as a full vienesse (with the extra hour). I don't begrudge her any of the things she had at her wedding, but I think she was crazy to pass up a house for a party.

The opposite is true too. Some girls have gotten on my case for having my reception in Patchogue. 1 even told me that I should never have looked at any place under $150 per person. Sorry, but we LOVED Mediterranean Manor. They are treating us well as we get down to the final weeks. Even if I had all the money in the world, I'd still have gone there.

I just know I dont judge others on how much $$ they are spending. If they have it their lucky & I hope they have a gorgeous wedding.

I guess I do judge people by what they say & how they say it, thats about it.

Who Cares! I would say judge me if you want it's your day and BTW who knows if you paid a lot for your gown or not. I don't think anyone should criticize your big day. THE ONLY ONE YOU GET!
