question

hello.

Does anyone know if you send an invitation to the person who is marrying you? Or is the confirmation that he is going to be there an hour before the ceremony enough? My husband and I are really confused by this. Please help! Thanks

you mean a preist or rabbi? i think etiquette will say yes, but we are not and i don't think its in bad taste if you don't.

Honestly, I know that the priest or whoever that is marrying you, should get an invitation. It's nice and only if you are inviting him to the hall. Its nice he/she would also probably give you a dinner blessing.
i THINK ITS A NICE GESTURE!

Re: question

thanks for your help. the ceremony and celebration are all at the same place, so i figure he was just going to hang out. I am going to send him an invitation, though! Thank again for all of your suggestions and help!!!!
