did anyone give photos you'd like to 're-create' at your wedding to your photographer??? I don't want to be insulting but i found some georgous shots!!!

I am definately going to do that. I dont think its insulting - bc it makes your photographer get a feel of what you like and dont like - and it will be easier for him to make you pose for certain pics

no, I did not. I felt that by 'recreating' shots that were unique to someone else's wedding wouldn't be the same for mine. I wanted the photographers to catch my own special moments, not recreate someone elses.

are they doing your wedding for you for free?
At first I thought it would be insulting, but I just keep telling myself that we're paying these people a LOT of money. We should make SURE we get what we want. And we'll only be doing this once, so NO regrets at the end! I say, go ahead and show them all the 'must take' shots you want and MAKE sure they're taken! And just think how happy you'll be when you have that beautiful shot hanging on your wall starring you and your husband!!!
In fact, one of the jobs of the Day of Coordinator is to make sure that the photographer gets all those shots. I'm sure your photographer gets asked by all his brides to take certain shots. Don't worry about it!

i def am.....i dont think its insulting. if a pose that you saw is something you want do it! There will be shots that your photographer will get that other ppl may look at and say WOW id want that! i know if ppl saw pics of us...take it....enjoy and recreate all ya want!!
