Ok so my wedding is July 14 and I havent ordered my dress yet. What would be the latest day(month) that I can order my dress and still have it arrive by my wedding?

I am using Phylis from Bridal Elegance and it takes 3 months to come in. I'm ordering mine next weekend. I figure it will come in Feb, I go for 2 fitting, one in Feb and one in March and i'm good to go!

it depends on where you go ~ every bridal store is different ~ if you have a place you are definately going to use I would find out there policy...
my bridal store for wedding dresses is 9 months + 2 = 11 months before
my BM are 4-6 months + 2 = 8 months before (my BM i want them all ordered in January becuase i have 3 OOT BM and they have to be shipped etc.)

It really depends on the designer
I am sure there are places that can put rush orders in for you, but it might be more money the longer you wait.
Some dresses take 3 months and some take 12, it really depends.

completely depends on the designer.
David's bridal I ordered my dress last weekend and I was told the date for my dress was first week of december, but some of the other dresses were January first. I've heard it take a year for some dresses. You just have to ask when you go to try dresses on. THe dates the dresses come in changes daily.

Thank you girls!!!! My sis will be coming for thanksgiving break (shes in school upstate) so I will probably go around thanksgiving week with her...hopfully I will find something that I can order

I also need to start looking for my dress. I can't believe it can take up to a year. Thats Crazy!!!!
