question...

how many bridesmaids are you having???

i have 3 sisters and 4 best friends that i want in my wedding..

but i feel like 7 is alot.. so im thinking of only having my sisters (fh wants me to do this also because he feels like simple is easier and better) i also feel like 3 is a really small bridal party.. im having such a hard time making a decision.. fh is hell bent on just having his 2 brothers, 1 cousin and one of his friends.. (so 4 in total)

also.. fh is having both of his brothers as best men..

he is jaded because we were both in his friends wedding that had 8 bridesmaids and 12 groomsmen.. he was like i could easily throw all my friends into it.. but i dont want too.. blah blah.. lol

i was recently in a wedding with over 30 people in the BP and i didnt like the 'feel' of it - that is why we decided to keep it really tiny

I had that fight with FH and I won, because i just couldnt get around it, so we compromised...he only wanted 2 best men....I wanted 6 bms...so were eaching having 6, and im having 2 MOHS

i think just having your sisters is fine....but i also dont think that 7 is too much. you have to think about what you really want i guess. if you are going to stay small then i would only have your sisters b/c then it will be hard to pick and choose between friends.

i myself am having 5 all together
2 MOH's (my sisters)
and 3 bridesmaids

FH is having 5...
1 best man
4 groomsmen

You could just have 3 bridesmaids and ask your friends to do a reading or something during the ceremony.

Another idea that is becoming popular is un even BPs.

I'm thinking of two best men (my brothers)
1 MOH (my bestfriend)
1 or 2 BMs

thanks girls.. its sooo hard to decide.. and the worst part is that while i love all my sisters im really only close to my moh.. out of my other 2 sisters..
1 is 8 years older and expecting her 1st child.. we get along somewhat.. but we argue over everythingggg.. her husband and i are really close because i help him stay sane... another sister is 6 years older than me and only really talks to me when she needs something.. we are just all really different..

my friends.. obvi are much closer to me..and get me and im sure want to do what they know i would like.. and i know would be standing up there because they want to..

do they have to be even? Can you have one guy for every 2 girls? Does the uniformity matter to you and FH?
