i have 3 sisters and 4 best friends that i want in my wedding..
but i feel like 7 is alot.. so im thinking of only having my sisters (fh wants me to do this also because he feels like simple is easier and better) i also feel like 3 is a really small bridal party.. im having such a hard time making a decision.. fh is hell bent on just having his 2 brothers, 1 cousin and one of his friends.. (so 4 in total) HELLPPP

1 MOH 1 BM 2 Jr BM
i was recently in a wedding with over 30 people in the BP and i didnt like the 'feel' of it - that is why we decided to keep it really tiny
Oooh my goodness! I would have hated to have to pay for all their bridal party gifts
she got all the girls diamond solitaire necklaces she is in my wedding ( my cousin) so i hope she knows that i cant be that generous

Re: question...
Honestly, I don't think that 3 girls is too small at all. I think a perfect # is either 3 or 4. When you have more than that, it's just more coordination issues and deciding on dresses etc etc etc.
I'm having 1 MOH, 2 BM's, so three total. I do have a few other friends that I'm very close to, but I just couldn't rationalize having a bigger wedding party.
So my vote is for your 3 sisters as BM. Then ask your friends to do readings, greet guests, do the guestbook, be your personal attendant, etc etc etc.

Re: question...
You can have any amount you would like. Remember it's your wedding. So whether you want 2 girls or 20 girls it is fine...you and your FH call the shots!!!!
We haven't figured out exactly what we are doing yet, and we are going to wait until the 1 year mark to ask people.
The definites are that my brother will be my Man of Honor and FH's brother will be the best man. I will also likely ask my best friend be matron of honor.
He will definitely have his other brother and 2 friends, possibly up to 4 friends, making 6 guys total.
I am probably going to ask three more friends, but if they say no, then that is it. So at most there will be 5 on my side (1 guy, 4 girls).
However, we may have an ARMY of kids in the wedding. I am very close to my 4 little cousins and he has 6 nieces and nephews - they all have to be there and buy new clothes anyway, so we may just let them all walk down the aisle! That way if some freak out and won't do it, no big deal!

Re: question...
most likely 3 and 3
1 MOH my sister 2 BM FH's cousin and my friend
1 BM 2 GM my brother and prob his step bro (who i prefer not to be in because hes a mess and unreliable, but I still like him haha FMIL sortof made mention that he should be in it.)
If FH wants to include his cousin.. ill include 1 other friend/relative to make it 4/4
but we havnt officially picked our BP

i totally agree.. that is why I am only having 1 friend. Family is your family forever, no matter what. I know too many people that had friends in their BP and now wont even talk to each other. Now they have their pics in their houses all the ones that eliminate that person.. so sad.
