Question!!!!!

I just received a thank you card from a wedding i attended in March.

It was just a simple card written by the bride, NO PICTURE!!!

Is this normal to do now?
Dont we need to at least send a wallet in the thank you cards?

I think that's one way people are cutting costs.
I think the majority of people do, which is why it's an option in photo packages, but you don't have to.

i dont like wallets
i throw them out - thats why im not getting them
i dont want someone throwing my picture out

i'd rather get the thank you's that have the pics right on the front

honestly, that's one reason why I chose Imagine...I know its a retarded reason to pick a photog, but I HATE the Thank yous with the wallet photo in them...if I didn't get a frame as a wedding favor, then the pic will end up lost or thrown away....

although my card will prbably end up in the garbage too LOL

sorry, that was slightly mean but i used to save them and then i couldnt even remember who some people were!!!

i would be so sad not to get a wallet or at least a thank you with the pic right on it

i actually display all of my wallets from family weddings in my room AND i keep all the wallets that i receive.

My brother decided to be 'different' and sent a card with no picture but a sticker with a picture closed the envelope.

well guess what? he got married in 2003 and i still do not have a picture from my own brother's wedding

i used to keep them and so did my mom and then they wound up in the junk drawer and i dont want to end up in someon's junk drawer

family is different but everyone else is not going to keep it

We're not going to send out picture thank-yous.

I just feel really silly sending people pictures of us. Just me though. I feel like the trend is to send pictures now.

But honestly, I cannot remember a thank-you that I have received that DID have a photo of the bride and the groom in it or on it....

really? I thought that it was like a standard....LOL...with the window photo....

I'm an asssss....I'm sure I wouldn't jsut throw it away, but I dwef don't keep things nicely....I'm a little bit of a pig

my cousins did a postcard. it had a pic of them and a pic of the bridal party. it was cute

Ok I'm a dunce.... I've just always received the little white thank you card with the wallet size pic insert of the bride and groom...... I didn't know there were other options....

What else can you do? I don't want to end up in somebody's junk drawer either lol...

you can get them made where your pic is the front of the card
check out shutterfly or snapfish and go to thank you cards

actually nicole, i think you should call her and tell her how you feel
maybe she will send you one

ETA - how could she possibly have pics back already if the wedding was in march
to be honest, i would rather get a prompt thank you , than wait 5 months for someone to get their pics back in order to thank me

the first thing you do is pick out your TYs so you could possibly have the cards out withing three months

i know i plan on writing them out as soon as i get back from my HM and then just stick the picture in before sending them out
