yes, possibly within 3 months but this was a wedding in march and its april 10th so maybe the girl wanted to send the thank yous right away? i mean, you couldnt have the actual pics that quickly unless u printed them yourself

Re: Question!!!!!
I think now-a-days its normal to send a formal thank you without a pic. Im not a fan of that tho...I always like to see a nice pic with my thank you...
ETA: I have to say..its better than nothing...I went to a wedding July 2006...and still havent received a thank you card

ETA - how could she possibly have pics back already if the wedding was in march to be honest, i would rather get a prompt thank you , than wait 5 months for someone to get their pics back in order to thank me
I agree... one of my friends got married in July, we got thank-you's on late sept/early oct because they were waiting for the pictures (which I promptly lost).

Re: Question!!!!!
My sister sent out her thank you cards 1 day after her wedding. SHe was married on Sunday, wrote them out on monday and mailed them out tuesday morning. She enclosed a wallet pic in them, but she printed them out herself, she used the DVD and went to CVS to print them.

Re: Question!!!!!
We aren't sending out pictures with our thank yous to everyone but we are giving them the website to our pictures. We are only sending pictures to immediate family

Re: Question!!!!!
One wedding we went to sent NO TY, and another sent TY with pics on it. I love the idea, but its all about saving money, and I don't think a pic is necessary.

I just received a thank you card from a wedding i attended in March.
It was just a simple card written by the bride, NO PICTURE!!!
Is this normal to do now? Dont we need to at least send a wallet in the thank you cards?
My cousin and his wife did the same thing. Maybe they might send it separate once they get their pictures? I'm still waiting for a pic...it's been almost a yr!!!!!!

I think that's one way people are cutting costs. I think the majority of people do, which is why it's an option in photo packages, but you don't have to.
i dont like wallets i throw them out - thats why im not getting them i dont want someone throwing my picture out
i'd rather get the thank you's that have the pics right on the front
Its like you read my mind!!!!!
So many people just toss them after a while. Esp all your co workers who you no longer work with, uncle bob and all those 3rd cousins...
thank yous and favors have come a loooooooog way, bc ppl are becoming more conscious that we are spending money on things that are going to be thrown out 3 days later...

Re: Question!!!!!
it's not mandated to give pictures in the thank you cards. it's your choice.

Re: Question!!!!!
i doubt i will be giving pics with thank you's. i've seen so many people look at it and go 'awwww, that's nice' and then chuck them. if i found a dirt cheap way to print them from shutterfly or something without sacrificing quality then ill consider it, but i wont stress about it.

Re: Question!!!!!
I definitely want a pic with the TY cards but if it means going over budget then i have no problem giving TY cards without pics.
