Question...

After reading TammyJill's post with the magnets - so adorable - I went to favorlady.com to check out the site. I absolutely love the magnets and the bookmarks. My question is - if we got a 'big' favor - say a candle - would it be cheesy to have the magnet and the candle along with it, as sort of a favor 'goody bag'?

I'm torn about this - please help...

Re: Question...

I think the magnets are really cute for the STD cards...but I don't see much use out of them after the wedding. That may be just my guests - since I know they wouldn't decorate their fridge with a magnet about our wedding for long. So I would try to put yourself in their shoes? What would you do with the magnet?

Re: Question...

I like it Everyone I know has magnets on their fridge. I think that idea is cute and practical.

Bottom line is you should do what you want and what you think your guests would appreciate. I saw a thread this morning about cootie catchers, which I thought was cute, but my quests would not be into something like that.

Re: Question...

I used favorlady for my STD magnets and bookmarks as an e-party favor (tied to a choc. bride and groom pop). I think the bookmarks get more use since my family and friends are big readers. But you should consider YOUR guests. What would they like. Some people get 'Thank you' magnets and that is cute too. They are not expensive so if some of your guests just throw them into a draw who cares?
