Question...

Who would you leave off your wedding list if you could?

At this point in time it would be my fmil. FI & I decided to go looking at halls in jan. since we would have more time with our schedule.
Do you believe that she actually went looking at halls with her sister? I saw the menus on her kitchen counter last night....

I really feel that she is going to be making this wedding all about her.....

How dare she? She has no right to look at halls for you without you knowing. You can invite her along when you decide to go but I don't think she gets a say where you are having the wedding without your consent.

Maybe you should talk to your FH about this. See what he says. You can also confront your FMIL that you don't appreciate what she is doing. The planning should be left up to you and your FH, its up to you if you want your FMIL's help.

I think I can beat that. I wanted William from Maximus to do my hair for the wedding but unfortunately he was already booked for another wedding. The FMIL tried to bribe him away from doing the other womans hair to do mine on my wedding day! Can you believe that? I would have killed if anyone did that to me!

That's horrible! I would be so mad! The thing is ... if she's not paying for it, then you and your FH should go, alone, and find a hall. I don't know if I would even let her come along at the begining stages ... She'd probably try to run things! Tell her that this is something you'd like to do together ... a bonding experience if you will! She can come when you're settled on a place. Be firm, sweetie, this is just the begining!

thank you ladies for your support. Fi & i are on the same side. We both agree that she oversteped her boundaries. Thankfully he spoke to her and hopefully she is going to chill. It is so hard for her to understand.....only god knows what is to come i pray for the best.....

For me it would be a cousin or two of his. One of them requested We Are Family at my wedding and when the band told her it was on our Do Not Play list (something they shouldnt of told a guest) she walked around like a psycho and started talking about me. I will NEVER see her again. What do you want from cheap trash?
