Question

Question

I need help. We are going to be having 175 to 200 guests at your reception and I really do not feel like greeting everyone at each table because my FH and I want to dance our assess off. I suggested that we just go to every table and just say hi (without kissing every individual) and thanking everyone for attending. Any suggestions?

I suggest you make sure you attend your CH and greet everyone then!!!! Less time away from the reception!

Re: Question

Are you going to take pics during your CH? If you are going to be there the whole time then you can greet as many people as you can while the Ch is going on and then the rest during the Reception asap and dance your asses off the rest of the night!

I would do that but we are having our reception at the Chateau Briand where we have a grand entrance of coming up from the floor and i really want that.

Re: Question

I think you should just greet people at the CH if you have time with the pictures

Re: Question

I feel the same way! There are so many songs I want the DJ to play that I plan on dancing my butt off too all night long! I'm worried that I'll be so busy with people talking to me that I won't get to dance as much as I want to. Is that wrong?

Re: Question

We're thinking about doing all the dances one right after the other, which gives us more time to greet-plus more time to party.

How about during the cocktail hour? Can you work out an arrangement with your photographer to do only say a few minutes of pics then, after you can pop right into the CH and start your hello's. This way you can get some of the greeting finished..which means more time to dance!

Re: Question

I would attend the cocktail hour. That way you can say hi to all of your guests and enjoy your reception. I'm still tossing around the idea of doing it.
