What's a regular price that you usually pay for invitations??? what's expensive... what's inexpensive....if anyone has any input on this this will help! thanks

I think it depends on what the style is your looking for. I was looking into scroll invites and one place quoted $8.50 an invitation .....
That to me times 150people is alot.
Sometimes you can go to diff websites and they have competitve prices.

I spent $800 and that included
- 250 invitations (2 inserts) and outer envelopes
- 250 RSVPs and envelopes
- 250 thank you card and envelopes

Yes that's a lot of money but since we're having an indian wedding, we had a lot of custom/ethnic designs.

There is no regular or standard price. Choices in invitations range so widely that it really depends on what you get. You can get one sheet, layered, pocketfolds, letterpress, thermography, how many ink colors, metallic paper, non-metallic, custom design work, no design....lined envelopes, unlined, additional cards included or not.

Figure out what style you want and then you can ask for what people's range was? For instance, I had a 5x7 layered invite with both metallic sheets and thermography, outer envelopes and lined inner envelopes and one direction card and RSVP card and envelope. Custom design work. One color ink. Mine also included TY cards and envelopes. Invite and TY envelopes had return address printed on and reponse envelopes had our address printed on the front. I paid somewhere around $800-$900 for 150.

Someone could have ordered 150 pocketfolds and payed a lot more maybe or simpler invites and payed a ton less. It's all relative depending on what you get in your package.

for 150 invites, 150 reception cards, 150 rsvp cards, inner/outer envelopes

I love love love my invites and I'm spending under $200 for 100 with response cards
