Re: question ...
hmm thats tough...but i would say if you were really close with them then you should do something for them...maybe since you werent too close with them maybe you can have photos of them on their wedding day instead of a candle or flowers.

Re: question ...
im thinking im probably going to have someone read a poem to remember all those we've lost...but kind of put an emphasis on my aunt who died 2 yrs ago from a brain enuryism & my FH's cousin who was killed back in october.

Re: question ...
I would ask your parents how they feel about it since it was their parents. Even though all of my grandparents have passed away, I'm only honoring the 2 grandparents I was close to and the other 2 I'm not even mentioning because they weren't a part of my life.

Re: question ...
I would run it by your parents...especially if you have sensitive family.
I know my sister was debating something for her grandfather (we're technically half sisters), but then decided to only do a quick mentioning at the ceremony for all those lost so it wouldn't get too depressing.
I know I'm not touching it with a 10-foot pole. I'm not one for emotions anyway, and I miss my aunt, but why throw it in my mom and nana's face that day that their sister and daughter isn't here anymore? It'd just be a disaster for my family, so I'm not doing it. But every family is different, so I would definitely ask.
