how big of a deal is it to book limos-without going to see them first?
thoughts?

Re: Question
I think it's pretty important to go see them before booking. We had originally wanted an old fashioned car, but changed our minds after we saw it.

Re: Question
if you just want regular stretch lincolns i don't think it's a big deal... if you want something different then i'd go see them first

Re: Question
A BIG DEAL!!!
As the daughter of a former limo company owner. It's a big deal!! You'd be amazed the condition cars can get in over the years. They can smell, have cuts in the seats, no AC/Heat... etc.
Serisouly check them out people can touch up pics online but there is no hiding real damage when you see them in person

Re: Question
We saw them beforehand. I would recommend doing that and MAKING SURE the AC works. The old car we had day off had NO AC and it was 80 degress that day. All it did was blow out hot air. The guy also had a really tough time driving it and at one point we thought it was going to break down. The old cars do look nice in pictures though.

I understand that but the AC could easily break and not work after you see it... and then they show up that day without a working AC...

Re: Question
Go see them... We looked at a BUNCH of party buses... honestly, some SMELLED like stale beer and dirty sex... others had burn holes in the seats, a lollipop stuck to the floor, broken blinds... the pictures were really pretty though.
and honestly, show up on a mon, tues or wednesday... and don't make an appointment, it catches them off guard. IMHO the vehicles should be cleaned out when they return to the yard, if not, the next day... yea we went to a place on a wednesday and they said the bus was used on saturday night... it was DISGUSTING.. I showered when I got home.

Re: Question
I just got photos from our limo company before I booked with them and I talked on the phone with them several times. I felt confident that they were being honest with me about the vehicles and went for it. We used Always in Style Limos. They were fabulous -- the cars were in PERFECT condition.

Re: Question
My MOH booked her limo's without seeing them but we made sure we saw our limo before booking. We didn't want to get stuck with something we didn't want.

Yeah, thats's true. I guess I would want to see what the inside looks like too.

Re: Question
I didn't see our party bus. Apart from pics. I saw the original we were gonna have, but he upgraded us to the new 2010 one.
