Re: question

Honestly I wouldn't. True etiquette is that you never include registry information in your invitations or STDs. It is supposed to be word of mouth. If people want to get you engagement gifts their HOPEFULLY ask where you are registered. IF you want to include registry information maybe post it up on facebook under that wedding section and leave the cards to your shower if you want.

Re: question

I'm putting our wedding website on it and on there will be where we are registered.

If you're not doing a website, I've seen it on the STF before, I think you can get away with it as long as its not on the invite or anything.

Re: question

according to proper ettiquette a registry shouldnt be mentioned formally until the bridal shower invitation, its fine if it gets mentioned through word of mouth but i wouldnt announce it until the shower invite, even if you are having an engagement party dont mention it. people are alot more internet savvy these days and can easily check the common places people register at (like bed, bath and beyond or macys etc) online and will do so if they want to get you a gift.

Re: question

I would put your wedding website info on the STD and put the registry info there so people can find it if they want to. Also if people want to buy an engagement gift, they will def ask your parents, etc where you are registered. The only time registry info is deliberately disseminated is in the shower invitation

Re: question

i def would not put that. we didnt do an engagement party either but didnt want to 'ask' for gifts so we just listed our wedding website which has a link to our registries...we did get a few gifts from that.

Re: question

I think it's totally fine if u put on the STDs where u're registered, remember they still gotta get a gift for ur bridal shower, some people like to get gifts ahead of time

Re: question

You can put that information on your website than on the STD put a link to your wedding website. Otherwise, have someone (like your mom/FMIL) let people know by word of mouth. The only time registry info should be put in anything is in the shower invitations. It should be be in anything else.

Re: question

I have gotton sme gifts already and the only reason y is cause people have asked me if i registered, i told them where and gifts were sent to me already. I do not have a wedding website so thats out of the questions and when i make one putting it on the STDs is out of the question since we made our stds already and in have them in hand
