Is you FH in to tattoo's? Maybe he'd prefer a tattooed band. I know its not the same... My FH is a mechanic and may do it so he won't have to wear his to work, but thankfully he's excited about looking for his and wearing it for the rest of the time.

This sounds like my FH... he wants Diamonds in his band. Bling Bling... I'm in trouble.
But I'd be upset too... I'm not into tattoo's but I like it of a ring or my name if he doesn't want to wear a ring.

FH wont wear one. He is a firefighter so he cant wear it at work. Hes also a softball junkie and he cant wear it while playing. It bothered me at first but now i dont care. It doesnt change our relationship or his commitment either way.
He wants a cheapo one for just the day of. He says he wants to get it tattooed but i think he will chicken out. If he does tattoo it, so will i
I really thought my FH was the only one who doesn't want to wear a ring. I know his stance on jewelry from the very beginning so I don't really care. I'm not even going to get him a band to save on the money. lol

Why not get him one?
FH kept teasing me so I got him a stainless steel one that's engraved with a love quote in latin. Most people can't read it, but it means a lot to us.
He wears it whenever he's out of his house :) He's getting used to the ring concept.
Oh I got Bobby an engagement ring after he proposed. If I was gonna wear one so was he. he wears it on his right hand. He wears it everyday so he can get used to having a ring on every day. I didn't ask him to...I just gave him one so far in advance that he couldnt say no. LOL
